Brilliant Baklava started in 2009 with the challenge to make baklava with a twist. With the love of a good challenge, 17 years in restaurants, the first batch of apple & cherry baklava was made. Starting December 2022, Brilliant Baklava LLC was made available to the public.

Every company will say "they only only use the best ingredients" with fancy words. I have thrown away a lot of baklava (lost money) because of cheaper ingredients. 100s of pieces in the trash because it was not acceptable in favor and texture. All of these failed recipes have been part of the journey to where I stand today.

The ingredients below are "The Best of the Best" because every batch must meet a set quality and standard level to be sold.
- Ghirardelli & Torani - Dark Cocoa & White Chocolate chips. Caramel, white, and dark chocolate sauces.
- Pure extracts ONLY for flavoring.
- Light amber honey
- The list goes on as each ingredient has been chosen for it unique flavoring qualities when blended together.
